This December was full of giving, play, tradition and family.
Our ward had a fun Breakfast with Santa Activity. We had cinnamon rolls and breakfast casserole and then sang in the jolly old fellow.
We enjoyed seeing the lights at Temple Square with Brent & Michelle and their children visiting from Texas.
Steve and I sang in the Ward Christmas Program. Beautiful songs that filled my soul with hope and peace remembering the eternal gifts of Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father. My heart was full as I cried through the beautiful message. We were so happy to share this experience with our parents, Betty & Charlie, Rex and Linda and my Aunt Sandy. I collected money from individuals in our choir and arranged these flowers to give our choir director to thank her. I had so much fun arranging and smelling these beautiful flowers.
New Years Eve Steve and I went skiing at the Canyons. We both got new coats and gloves for Christmas. There is a new lift at the called the Orange Bubble so it was like skiing at a whole new resort. The snow sparkled in the sun. It was beautiful.
That night Steve made the family cheese fondue. It was very stringy this year. Ellie, Kara, and Mia really got into it this year. Watching their dad cook and then enjoying eating together!
Steve took some funny pictures of me trying to eat.....wrapping the cheese around my tongue.
We also enjoyed hosting the Mason Family Christmas Party at our home this year. Even though there was tons on snow and it was really cold we all enjoyed each others company.
So much fun stuff this Christmas I can't seem to include it all. After fondue, we went to Grandma and Grandpa Taylors for the traditional White Elephant Gift Exchange and for the cousins to exchange presents. Then, Christmas morning, Grandma and Grandpa Taylor came to our house early in the morning to eat breakfast with us and watch the girls open their presents. It was a fun and blessed year. We have it all on video tape.

Can't forget to mention that I helped plan Ellie's class Holiday party this month too!
The theme was "Reindeer Games" so we planned all the activities around Rudolph and his red nose. I was in charge of the singing table. We made jingle bell shakers, and I gave the kids Reindeer candy canes if they sang Rudolph the red Nose Reindeer really loud. The entire party was a blast!
